Saturday 20th September, Sale Sharks v London Welsh: Contact Skills Clinic, 11.30 am to 1.00 pm – For all new U9s and U10s . The focus of the session for the U9s players will be an introduction to tackling and the tackle area. For the U10s we will introduce the 1 v 1 competition for the ball after the tackle and the restart of play through a 3 v 3 uncontested scrum. As well as the coaching, a first team player will come down to watch, and take part in a Q&A session as well as the souvenir group photo and each attendee will receive a Sale Sharks flag – all for the price of just £15. Saturday 20th September, Sale Sharks v London Welsh: Hendre Fourie's Breakdown and Turnover Masterclass, 11.30 am to 1.00 pm for all players from U11s up. This clinic will draw on Hendre's experience, to give you an unique insight into the skills and techniques to give you and your team an advantage for the upcoming season. Saturday 20th September: Start the season with the Royal Marines! Aged 14-18? How would you and your team like to learn the discipline and skills that it takes to be a Royal Marine? Sale Sharks have teamed up with the Royal Marines to put on a day of activity at the AJ Bell Stadium on Saturday 20th September – and this experience is completely free of charge!! You simply need to register at community@salesharks.com with your name, date of birth and email address. The day will incorporate teambuilding and leadership skills which are essential in both a rugby team and as a Royal Marine. There will also be life skills as well as a Royal Marine Physical Training session. The activities will take place from 11.00am until 1.30pm and following this Sale Sharks will play London Welsh in the stadium before which the Royal Marines and Sharky will be delivering the match ball in style!!
