For all Mini and Youth....

Dear All,
Can I please just remind parents and guardians to ensure all our mini and youth players are well equipped for the weather conditions. Wintry conditions are now upon us and our young players will feel the cold, particularly if wet. Please ensure they have suitable clothing with them, such as a training top or waterproof should they need to layer up as well as their usual drink. Please bring base layers if not being worn in case your child is on the artificial pitch, this will help protect against grazes on the surface.

It is vital that coaches and the players know how and where to find parents when training and on Match days. Any child can get cold or injured and coaches must be able to contact you and find you in a timely manner. I appreciate myself how this can be a logistical nightmare with 3 children of my own playing in different age groups and on occasions at different locations. Please ensure your child and the coach or team manager knows who the responsible adult is for them on such occasions.

If you have any specific concerns or questions please feel free to contact me at safeguarding@kendalrugby.co.uk or you will find me with the U10s squad.

Many thanks
Rachel Morgan
Club Safeguarding Officer and U10's Coach
