All community clubs have received a letter warning of a cut in support from the RFU
While the RFU continues to support the Community game there will be reductions in funding for each local Constituent Body, grants, costs for referees will increase and support for travel costs will be reduced.
Other areas such as County matches and development of female and youth officials will have funding removed.
Not all of this will directly affect our Club and further details are expected. The RFU has gradually reduced funding for community rugby over the last ten years and there is no doubt this will add to the financial strain on the Club.
As we reorganise for next season at Level 6 we need member's support more than ever and we shall publish further details when they are available.
