Rugby next season

By Stephen Green

Changes to the coaching team for the forthcoming season.

A return to Level 6 for next season is the stimulus for change. The Board is pleased to announce additional coaching team members for the 2019/20 season.
Chris Hayton has stepped in to take the Director of Rugby role, assisted by Jonathan Nicholson (Bully).
Chris Downham is having a complete break from both coaching and playing and we hope to see him back in the near future.
The coaching team of Rob Quarry and Stuart Wilkinson will be strengthened by former players Richard Harryman and James Gough, both of whom are experienced National League players. Garry Holmes will take on a Coach Development role working across the whole Club.
This new structure will allow the Club coaching systems to develop and have benefits at all levels and with all squads.
Though the season ended disappointingly, we are in a strong position to move forward with a blend of youth and experience in both the playing and coaching squads.
Enjoy the summer break and further information about pre-season arrangements will be announced in due course.
We look forward to your continuing support next season.
