On this day in History- that being Feb 27th 2018- it was snowing and we had minus temperatures. Fast forward to Feb 27th 2019 and the sun shone on the righteous again with the Auld Greys taking to the pitch in sunglasses, shorts and light T shirts..
We were joined by Kendal College who lead the warm up and drill routines before being soundly thrashed by the Auld Greys in the round robin matches.
With the students, we had over 30 folk enjoying the sunshine and some good rugby followed by the customary tea and chat afterwards . It has been a pleasure to have the College take part in our sessions as it is good to play against a different team, show the youngsters that brains and experience gets you through and there is always the weather window between 2 & 3pm!!
