Ladies travel to Halifax

]Halifax Ladies invited Kendal and Sunderland to a friendly game on Saturday 3rd August.
Kendal and Sunderland recently being accepted into the same league for the first time.
The team consisted of 9 from Kendal and 6 from Sunderland.
Halifax had a big squad of 22 and it was obvious from the first whistle they had a lot of strong experienced players from different clubs.
Kendal/Sunderland played well from the start but it was clear the inexperienced side would need to dig deep and play hard as Halifax were strong and aggressive.
Halifax scored 1st closely followed buy the Kendal/Sunderland team and this was how it mostly went with Halifax ahead.
The team played out of their skins with some awesome performances.
The Kendal Team consisted of Abby Bland, Emma Grunnill, Amie Sharp, Meg Brady, Jan Mason, Hayley Fleming, Sarah Simpson, Vanessa Bonita Temple and Fleur Stanton.

We look forward to meeting up with the girls from Sunderland again when we play them on the 17th November at Sunderland.
