TEAM : Up front the only change from Saturday is Alistair Thompson returning in place of Robbie Collinson, who moves to the bench. So Dom retains his spot in the second row, with Jack up front.
A re-jig of the back division, sees Dini moving to scrum half (with Mattie on the bench), Glen is back, so Mike moves to centre and Kris to the wing. Nick Carlton who did well when he came on last Saturday is rewarded with a start on the left wing. John Dervey, Ben Leacock and Mark Carruthers make up the remainder of the bench.
OPPOSITION : Carlisle ended up in 10th place in their first season back in North West One, but finished strongly, only going down by a point to Wilmslow, who this weekend defeated champions Vale of Lune, to pip Northwich for the play off spot whilst a week earlier, had lost by two points to Waterloo, who were in our League the year before.
In recent seasons Carlisle have often given us good games, and if it is anything like the previous cup encounter with them we could be in for an entertaining evening. That time we came back in injury time to snatch a win with two Dini Noyo tries, the first set up by Bob Mathia (remember him), and the second started by Carlisle old boy Glen Weightman, and set up Dan Lowther.
WEATHER : Bring a brolly - the forecast for tomorrow evening in Keswick is 95% of heavy rain.
REPORT : As the game is being played in a public transport unfriendly location, and by the time I get home it will be way past my bedtime, the report will probably not get up until Wednesday evening - so why not come and witness it first hand to cheer the team hopefully onto a first victory in the Cumbria Cup in over ten years...
