TEAM : The good news is Matty Houghton and Jack Lashley who went off last weekend are back. There are however two enforced changes with James Gough and Jack Walker (back row) having picked up injuries.
Dini moves from the wing to scrum half, and there is a welcome return on the wing for Leo Mercer, who last played against Birkenhead Park at the end of the 2014/5 season.
Blake Robinson moves from the sub’s bench to the back row, with John Dervey who looked a good addition in the two pre-season games coming in on the bench, after playing for the Development Squad last weekend.
WEATHER : The current forecast is dry if cloudy
AT MINT BRIDGE : The Development Team seem to be without a game, but if you cannot make it to Liverpool (or even of you can) there is a chance to see some rugby at Mint Bridge this weekend as the Wasps have their first home game of the season against Sheffield on Sunday – kick off 2.00pm (according to the website).
Last weekend after travel problems and seven new players in their squad away at Sefton, after trailing 24v0 at half time, they won the second half 19v5.
