The tough start to the season continues, with second place Lymm the visitors, meaning that in their first five games the team will have faced all of the current top four, so no room for complacency, despite the reported excellent performance and victory last weekend.
Lymm started the season with wins against Cleckheaton and Rossendale, before losing narrowly at Sandal, all of whom are in mid-table. Last weekend they had a comfortable 54v14 win against one of the other promoted teams Doncaster Phoenix.
For Kendal an odd start to the season, with two home defeats, but two wins away from Mint Bridge, so hopefully a first home win of the season, and a move up the table this weekend.
TEAM : Fewer changes this weekend. John Dervey comes into the second row in place of James Thompson, whilst Damian Armstrong returns from holiday, and starts on the left wing instead of Leo Mercer (who is not available), with last weekend’s centre partnership of Danny Barker and Zane Butler retained.
Robbie Collinson and Jo Hambley, join Josh Coyle on the bench.
WEATHER : A possibility of showers during the game
Better weather with sunshine is forecast for Sunday afternoon, when the Wasps are due to play Birkenhead Park - kick off 2.00pm
