MATCH POSTPONED UNTIL SATURDAY 25th FEBRUARY
A tough test this weekend, as although we still sit well clear of them, Morley after picking up just a single point in their five games after visiting Mint Bridge, and that was a losing bonus point at home to struggling Waterloo, have picked up 19 out 30 points in their last six games, most importantly edging Doncaster Phoenix out by a point away a fortnight ago, to go above them and outside the relegation spots by two points, with Cleckheaton, now just another two points ahead of them. At the start of the year, they even got a losing bonus point away at second place Rossendale.
With Cleckheaton at Doncaster on Saturday afternoon, there will be plenty of motivation for Morley to get a result. It could be another nail biting encounter, If it is as close a contest as our list visit in 2011, when we finally came through 29v36.
TEAM : The pack is unchanged from Stockport except Liam Hayton and Ross McKay swap positions. In the back division Kris Bratton, who impressed after coming on a half time against Stockport, starts with Damian Armstrong moving to full back. An all forward bench with Blake Robinson, who played well for the Development Team last weekend, joining Robbie Collinson and John Dervey
WEATHER : Not Nice ! Heavy snow is forecast for Thursday evening in Morley then 0 (feeling like -5) overnight and no higher than 1 in the day time on Friday before 0 again overnight. Saturday looks a little better but still no warmer than 2, feeling like -3, with sleet forecast. I think they do have a big grandstand at Morley – if the pitch makes it !
