After the excellent result last weekend, a need for another quality performance, as the team build to the first home game of the season at the new Mint Bridge against Preston Grasshoppers next weekend.
A first ever meeting with Pocklington, who were prompted from the Eastern Division last season. Whilst they sit second bottom, with just an away draw at Birkenhead Park, they had a very tough start with an away game at Wirral and then a home tie against Hull, two of the top four last season, and they will be keen to get a first victory.
Pocklington has a population of 8,300 and is 13 miles East of York on the road to Beverley who appeared on our fixture list in 2006/07.
The team beat Penrith and West Hartlepool to the title last year.
TEAM : Only two changes from last week’s team Mark Carruthers comes off the bench onto the right wing, and Liam Hayton and Ross McKay swap places with Liam starting from the bench with Nathan Wooff taking Mark’s spot on the bench.
WEATHER : Dull and overcast but hopefully dry.
