After playing the top three teams in our most recent matches, this weekend it is a totally different challenge, as the team head to Morley, who have yet to win this season, and are at the foot of the table, with their only points coming from a draw against fourth bottom Sandal. After a 35v12 loss away at second bottom Birkenhead Park weekend, they will be desperate to kick start their season. Those of us who were at the same fixture earlier this year, with remember the battering they gave our defence, which held out for a hard fought victory.
With Birkenhead Park and Pocklington both winning last weekend, we need a win, to open up a gap between us and the bottom three, and keep pace with the mid-table, where the team should probably already be, after our performance so far.
TEAM : With Damian Armstrong, possible out for the rest of the season, and Zane Butler also out, it is another revised back division. Mark Carruthers and Danny Barker come into the centre, and Dini Noyo returns to the left wing, with Matty Kaye back at scrum half.
Much more stable up front, with Matt Charters who dropped out last weekend, due to return, with Will Montgomery moving to the bench joining Garry Holmes, and Nathan Wooff. (Nick Carlton was originally selected but is awaiting registration).
WEATHER : After the original fixture being postponed last season due to a waterlogged pitch, this time the forecast is dry, if grey.
