Prepare for contact after the long break from the pandemic. The session is designed to support players with how they can prepare physically for contact, as well as develop their understanding of: - Body shape - Foot placement - Body height leading into the contact area

We know with recent government announcements the 4th Jan is now a school day for some players. If anyone would like to attend this workshop but cant, get in touch and we can look at how we can run at an alternative date

This Christmas Home Grown Sports Development and Kendal RUFC are pleased to be in partnership to deliver the "Christmas Player Development Workshops" as part of the #Homegrownrugby programme.

Preparing for contact - 10am - 12pm

All staff are DBS cleared and RFU qualified, headed by Founder of Home Grown Sports Development and Head Coach of the Kendal Men's squads Garry Holmes.

All attendees will need to bring water-bottle and weather appropriate rugby clothing. This should include trainers as well as boots, shorts and tracksuit bottoms, warm tops, mouth guard, waterproof top, warm hat and sun cream (Some of this list may be subject to the weather conditions).
