Hello again dear reader! Just realised that i haven't kept you fully updated with the wonderful world of kendal senior colts for a couple of weeks ( and i know that you love it!) so here goes.

After the highs of their victory against blackburn, obviously our training culture was boosted. This was in the shape of that great fav tom betoin (one of 2 spottings that week!). Challenge bradders took a new form, in which our hero attempted to pass or kick a ball into a tyre at 20 yards. Much to perie's glee both bradders, and skipper failed in the attempts to win the challenge. Although after theo's torture camp, perie showed the wonders of the mind, by persuading skipper to pass the ball into the tyre using mental visulisation 2 times running. Bar skipper being "well chuffed" with his victory, perie is now considering starting up some form of zen workshops during the summer months, to get enough funds for another recognised front 5 forward for the section!

Thursday training with our lovely senior section is picking up pace, with your young heros showing great determination, and their trademarked skills! Sensai's walker, milner and whitehead are to be thanked for their imput into encouraging the lads, and honing their skills also. Another thankyou to the senior players for the inclusive attitude shown towards us, it's quickly becoming a real no miss session! Perie showed not only women can multitask by reffing, and also playing at the same time, only being slightly sour when being called into action half way through his ciggy!

"team bonding" - this may not have happened, as although everyone said they had a really good time, coaches hayton and perie have no recollection of any of it happening, and possibly it may have just have been a strange plot from the tv programme lost, or that their shandy's of the finest lancaster brewery product (really is nectar!) were spiked, but as pixie was there, no doubt there was cuddling aplenty for the absent minded coaches!

This weeks training was more of the same again, but due to a rugby emergency "challenge bradders" had to be cancelled!!! Yes it really was that much of a problem, but fear ye not reader, it shall return in all it's intrepid glory next week to amuse (you) and bemuse (bradders), and as promised a while ago, i shall be getting you the "challenge bradders" special report!

As ever a few thanks for this week. Gill (and mike) for the hospitality(gill for this, and mike for being mike). Daneo, gater and algi for cheering me up, will "browny" brown for his mo, paddy and al for admitting to reading this drivell (i will name and shame)rob's wightman and tilsley for being good lads, the entire ladies section, sunday's ladies drinking contingent (get well soon em) again for cheering me up. Lancaster brewery, it's products are top notch, and very reasonably priced, saint chartered accountants (still better than your mattress), captain john uttley of the good ship sbs for his continued support, and finally you, the reader, i hope you have an advent calender full of joy!

Cheers

Arth
