After last weekend's excellent 25 v 41 AWAY win against Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire in Division 3 - Pool 1, this Saturday (18 May 2019), Cumbria plays host to table-topping Oxfordshire in a crucial HOME clash that will see the winner progress to the Bill Beaumont Senior Mens County Finals at Twickenham!
No easy ask for Cumbria, with Oxfordshire arriving fresh off the back of last weekend's 43 v 8 domination of North Midlands.
Bower Park, home of Aspatria RUFC will host the top-of-the-table match, where the Bars are open from 1 pm.
Anticipated K.O. is 3pm, although it is understood that Oxfordshire is seeking an earlier K.O. time - any update will be posted if the agreed change is notified in time! (Get there early, just in case...)
Last week's match had plenty of Kendal interest with Kris Bratton, Dini Noyo, Glen Weightman, Dom Musetti, Kirk Chettleburgh, Mark Irving and Steve Nelson in the team selection. Former Kendal stalwarts Ben Leacock (Wharfedale) and James Thomson (Kirkby Lonsdale) also featured for Cumbria.
Saturday's selection is (as yet) unpublished, but is once again likely to feature several Kendal-based athletes.
Individual entrance is £5, with Cumbria Rugby Union members free. Car park is £2.
Why not leave the car at home?
