A first ever game against Dronfield, who are based in Derbyshire between Sheffield and Chesterfield.
The game was originally due to be played at Mint Bridge, but logistics of the fire show the night before means they agreed to swapping the fixture, and will instead visit Mint Bridge after Christmas
They current sit at the foot of the table, but it is very close as they only sit four points behind Blackburn in eighth (safety) and six points behind us in sixth.
They have also had a tough start with losses against so far unbeaten Macclesfield; Stockport and Anselmians, plus Wirral who have only lost once. A heavy 48v8 loss to Blackburn, whilst they won 18v13 against Bowdon

Still unbeaten Macclesfield should be too good for Leek
Similarly Wirral should get another win against the only team yet to win, although Rochdale have three losing bonus points, but unlikely to add another here
Bowdon looked a good side last weekend and were unlucky not to come out of the game with more than a losing bonus point, but are unlikely to add anything against Rossendale
The BIG game of the weekend, and possibly the season so far. A loss at Stockport last season may have cost the only team with maximum points this season promotion. Stockport are also unbeaten and are the best team we have faced so far (Anselmians to come after a week’s break). Going for Anselmians to get their revenge
This seems like an obvious away win, but the reality is there are only two points between the two teams and Vale have home advantage. Still going with Blackburn
SECOND XV :
Are at Mint Bridge on Saturday for a Local Derby against Kirkby Lonsdale
They sit in 10th place just one of the bottom with just one win this season against bottom place West Park (St Helens) – and what a result, winning by 5 points in 105. They have also conceded over 50 against Ellsmere Port last weekend and Blackburn a fortnight ago
WASPS :
Nothing mentioned on the main Facebook listings for this weekend, but the RFU site suggests it is the re-arranged Cup game at Carlisle postponed from a few weeks back (the stormy weekend) ?
Watch this space for details
SENIOR COLTS :
Also not mentioned on the Facebook site, but may have an away game at Aldwinians this weekend (according to elsewhere on this site)
Both teams have two wins from their first two games in this “Conference”)
