After the game on Saturday someone asked me who my MoM was. After a game where the team had again pushed one of the top teams all the way, I wasn't sure. Eventually I said I was going to do what I occasionally do, and think about it as I re-live the game when writing the report.

Aaron was one of those who ended up on the short list, but others had no doubt with almost a third of a large vote going for him, to give him a third MoM of the season (equal with Barney Coxon).

As ever a solid in defence, dealt well with some well positioned (and chased) kicks from Alnwick, and getting the back line moving with ball in hand (possibly could do with getting to him and them faster and more often).

Whilst Aaron was well ahead, I was not the only one who need to think, as ten players got votes, whilst several others were unlucky to miss out on a vote.

Matt Houghton and Alfie Bradshaw were this week's runners up (although some distance back) and Ben Dixon and Ollie Rose one behind them.
