In the closed season, Kendal Ladies Wasps has signed Amy Orrow from Carlisle.
James says "Amy is an absolute quality player, last year's County Captain and general all round good egg!"

With a major reworking of the club's training schedule, the Ladies Wasps, like the senior men, will now train Tuesday and Thursday nights, meaning that ALL senior sides will now train on the same nights. This is effective immediately! There are a host of advantages for having all the senior players grace the club together, especially once the move across the road is completed, where post-training eating, drinking and sharing the clubhouse together will serve to enhance the camaraderie between the players!

At the start of this new season, there is already a planned recruitment drive for more new Ladies Wasps players. James says ambitiously "We are looking to at least equal the 18 debuts of last season!"

The next two Saturdays Kendal Ladies Wasps are bag packing at Morrisons next to Mint Bridge, to aid recruitment and fundraising. The Ladies Wasps would greatly appreciate any extra pairs of hands between 11am and 4pm.
