A fine morning's rugby saw the U15's open their account with a barnstorming victory over local rivals Kirkby Lonsdale. Around 100 spectators enjoyed some fast flowing rugby and witnessed an under 15's squad keen to put into practice all those hours spent at training...
A hat-trick of well-deserved tries by Charlie Lowther and a brace from Nathan Halhead were the highlights of an excellently planned and well executed match.
The game featured some fantastic lines from the forwards, with tireless running and support from Charlie Lowther, Barney Coxon, Robbie Kincart, Nathan Halhead and Luke Middleton worthy of note. For the first three-quarters of the game, the breakdown was handled with ruthless efficiency by Kendal, recycling clean ball time after time. The backs also featured, with strong running, slick handling, solid cover tackling and well-worked inter-play with the back row.
All in all a dominant performance from the whole team and definitely the squad to watch!
