A fantastic day's rugby.

Overall:
The lads were fantastic representatives of the club: maximum effort, smiles on faces, cracking rugby. So much so that most of the teams we played asked if they could come for a fixture at the Nest (can we fit them all in Paul K?).

In each game the lads were awesome defensively and as the morning went on became more and more confident in attack - heads and eyes were rising scanning for space the looking for gaps.

Playing in Group D (diamonds?) we played five 8 minute fixtures against clubs from the North and North East.

Kendal vs Tynedale [0-4]
Summary: to be fair we were finding our feet after a long coach journey!

Gosforth vs Kendal [2-5]
Summary: rocking here, with a hat-trick from Will N.

Kendal vs Percy park [1-3]
Summary: fantastic defence, and a very close game.

Kendal vs Whitley Bay Rockcliff [4-0]
Summary: confidence is high with another hat-trick, this time from Charlie.

Barnard Castle vs Kendal [0-3]
Summary: minds (and noses) were turning to the hot dogs cooking on the Under10s BBQ. (which were delicious - thanks 10s!).

Player of the day went to Eddie: a defensive giant all day, do we have a future Launchbury (Holmes?) on our hands?

Special mention to Will N and Charlie for their two hat-tricks, leaving the other team (and their team mates) for dust.

Further special mention to Jack, Will H, Max, Robbie, Elliot, Luke and Nathan for making the day so enjoyable.
