Two early converted tries by the visitors gave Furness dominance on the score board as well as on the pitch.
However Kendal competed strongly & were aggressive up front making Furness work hard for their points.
But Kendal struggled to breakdown the visitors defence but were rewarded for their energy & efforts five minutes before halftime when second row Dan Boardley - who gave a strong performance throughout - was driven over the try line to reduce the deficit to 5 - 14.
Furness despite Kendal's best defensive endeavours scored three more tries during the second half for a final score of 5 - 36.
