Our only game outside Cumbria in September, and the first of three away games.
Early in the season, but unbeaten team in top spot against a team yet to win – however look more carefully a bonus point win would bring Altrincham Kersal level with us, if we come away with nothing.
They started with home draw against Bowden, picking up a try scoring bonus point, and got a double bonus point in a high scoring loss at Carlisle last weekend.
So our defence needs to continue its good form – whilst on the attack we need to keep taking the chances. Sounds easy, but recent visits to Altrincham have found it a difficult place to win at, even though we eventually did.
A fortnight ago we were the only away winner, whilst last week there were just two, so three away wins in fourteen, mean getting results over the next few weeks could be important.
TEAM : Just the one change with Jordan Johnson coming onto the wing in place of Mark Carruthers who is with teh secind team. On the bench Tom Moulton is joined by Ross McKay, who was unavailable last week returns, whilst Alistair Thomson make a first apperance of the season.
WEATHER : Looks OK
