Safeguarding Policy

Everyone working in Rugby Union has a role to play in safeguarding the welfare of young people under the age of 18 and vulnerable adults, playing rugby and preventing abuse of players.

The club has updated its Safeguarding Policy to reflect the needs of all its members to ensure that all users of the club, its facilities and rugby provision are assured that they can do so in a safe and inclusive environment, one that promotes equality for all and will protect young people and vulnerable adults from all forms or abuse.

This policy reflects the RFU Safeguarding policy and underpins all the other policies within the club.

If you have any concerns regarding Safeguarding at Kendal RUFC then you should report these concerns to the CSO (Club Safeguarding Officer) Rhoda Bentley or Deputy CSO Garry Holmes and Rachel Morgan. The officers contact details are within the safeguarding policy document which can be found in the documents section or under the club contacts section of the website
