Your young player’s involvement in rugby is very important to us. From July 1 you can sign them up to be affiliated for the age-grade season 2022/2023. This annual affiliation helps clubs to understand who is and will be playing rugby during the season. Last year we saw over 150 thousand young players affiliate, a number we hope will be exceeded this year. The three-click process can be found below as well as a short explanatory video.

Three clicks process once you have logged into the system – Login
• Click on the child you want to affiliate (if you cannot see your child, this guide might help)
• Click renew affiliation or affiliate once the child's profile is open
• Finally, click save at the top of the page

Affiliation replaced registration last season in response to parents’ and guardians’ feedback that they wanted to be in control of their children’s data. By affiliating, you control the information and own the data. This not only reduces the burden on club volunteers who formerly had to put in all registration information but also enables the account holder to have a rugby record for life, as their data transfers with them each year.

Your help in affiliating young players is greatly appreciated. It means both your club and England Rugby can more easily understand who is playing the sport and respond to players’ needs in each area of the country.

The data and insights, as well as the local knowledge, helps to drive how the game is supported, and to shape the rugby landscape for the benefit of all involved.
