(from the Facebook page)
Yet another improved performance this week against top of the table Bishop Auckland.
Some ferocious defence on display, to only concede two tries in the second half.
A well earned break next weekend before a big home game against Sefton*
(* 8th February at Mint Bridge).
PLAYERS OF THE GAME
| Forward | Susie Winter |
| Back | Josie Noble |
| Opposition Choice | Amber Byers |
OTHER RESULTS
The bad news is Sefton (the team immediately above the Wasps) won at Chester Divas to open up a six point gap on the Wasps
| Chester Divas | 26 | 29 | Sefton |
| Driffield | 48 | 12 | Sheffield |
TABLE
The other news is the Wasps are now shown at the foot of the table, on the RFU website.
Sheffield facebook page confirms that Birkenhead Park (who they were due to play today) have unfortunately had to drop out of the League. So the Wasps away win against them is wiped out.
Therefore it appears the game against them at Mint Bridge on 22nd March will now not be taking place.
