Only four teams will contest the 2021/22 Cumbria County Cup, after the eight top-ranked clubs in the county were invited to take part, but four of them: Carlisle, Cockermouth, Wigton and Kirkby Lonsdale declined the invitation.
The draw for the semi-finals, to be played on Saturday 6 November 2021, was made on 11 October by the competitions committee and is as follows:
* Aspatria (H) v Penrith (A)
* Kendal (H) v Keswick (A)
In the 140 year history of the Cumbria Cup, Aspatria is the most successful with 31 wins. Penrith has won 8 times. Keswick’s 6 wins all came in the nine years immediately after the Second World War and by contrast, Kendal's 5 wins have all been in the last 30 years.
Game on!
