After getting somewhat wet at Mint Bridge yesterday, today I watched my recording of the lack lustre damp-squid England team losing to a formidable Ireland. I did watch the Wales Scotland game and was very impressed with both teams. The Welsh for getting their mojo back, even though it faded as the Scots showed us that you never give up!
Again, France proved that they are the team to beat, but Italy have come a long way in the last couple of years, and they don’t kick the ball away at every opportunity! Will they beat England in 2 weeks??
However, one thing I have decided having seen all 3 games, is that I will never buy anything advertised on the right half of the TV screen when a scrum is being formed!
Special mention this week to Danny Airy for correctly predicting the Wales Scotland scores and quite a few people came within 10 points for this game. What a surprise that nobody came within 15 points for the England game!
Anyway, this week’s winner is Oscar Coxon. Well done to him.
And the overall winner (so far) is a tie between Duncan Green and Jo Fahy Coward who wrote down the scores that Archie told her.
But don’t worry if you’re not up at the top, there are 6 more erratic scorelines to come!
