With no other Senior rugby at Mint Bridge (and very little anywhere) the Wasps take centre stage with game against the team immediately above them in the table, Sefton.
Following Birkenhead Park, dropping out of the League the away game at Sefton saw the Wasps only League points so far with a 12 all draw in November
Sefton appear to have picked up recently getting a second win of the season, away at Chester Divas a fortnight agon (26v29) and before that getting a try scoring bonus point at leaders Bishop Auckland
Their other win towards the start of the season was against Driffield (who have only lost twice - the other being against Sheffield - they have yet to play Bishop Auckland home or away).
A tough season for the Wasps, as new players come in to replace more experienced Wasps, with five of the twenty involved in the last game at leaders Bishop Auckland being in their Debut season.
