We are sad to announce the death of former captain, David Curry.
David was captain during the 1966-67 season. He was a hard working and enthusiastic centre who could play wing or fullback when required.
He learnt his rugby at his father's prep-school, Holme Park and Giggleswick Grammar School.
David captained and led by example and during his captaincy year played in every one of the 38 games.
Unfortunately for Kendal, David moved the following year to the Southeast with K Shoes where he continued his rugby career. In retirement he moved back and lived in Skipton.
His funeral is at Skipton Crematorium on Thursday 7th October at 3.00pm.
R.I.P. David.
