Double Success At Vale

Although Blackburn came to Vale as well, we unfortunately didn't have the time to play them. As it was we had two great games of rugby against two good Vale sides. Despite having four players relatively new to rugby we managed to win both games. Jonny Lee and Eddie ran with the ball and tackled as if they had been playing for years. Jess, who just returned to playing this season, was tackling like Richie McCaw. The team really started to come together, using all their varied talents. Reuben left Vale bewildered as he was the only one who realised he could rip and steal the ball from the unsuspecting opposition, Oscar made plenty of good strong runs and Jacob's finishing ensured us points. It was a pleasure to see the team thinking about using space and moving the ball wide to make ground. A great effort!!
