Despite having just one sub, the team held their own against a constantly rotating Fylde side on Sunday to create some fantastic tries. It was a real pleasure to watch; the handling was good, the tackling solid and even the rucking improved over the course of the morning. As the Fylde coach told the players after this marathon fixture, they really captured the spirit of the game of rugby in the way that they played and it is a credit to the kids that he commented that it was always a great pleasure to play Kendal for this reason. No idea what the score was, but when the rugby's that good, who cares? Well done Hornets!
