After a long journey to Crewe & Nantwich, the team arrived full of anticipation. With a slow start it was evident we had two evenly matched sides. Crewe edged forward and took the advantage with a converted try after 20 mins. Kendal absorbed further pressure as Crewe pushed on ... then Kendal got the break they needed and scored an unconverted try 5 min before half time resulting in a score of 7 - 5 at the break.
The second had a much more positive start for Kendal with two early tries, one converted. You could see Crewe's heads drop as Kendal kept up the pressure scoring again taking the tally to 7 - 29. Kendal lapsed momentarily and let the opposition in for another score( 12 - 29). From the kick- off Kendal found their stride, caught the ball, went through a couple of phases mixing it with backs and forwards finishing with a great team try to take the final score to 12 - 34. A great team effort and performance. Well done all.
