Saturday 20th : Kick off 2:15 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Still won't believe it until the referee blows the whistle for kick off, but hopefully fourth time lucky and we will have a game this weekend.
Visitors Manchester took our second place last week, and sit a point above us, now in Sixth (don't believe the Pitchero table, which has not even spotted that Waterloo have been awarded the points for their postponed game vs Carlisle)
Manchester have six wins from their nine games with try scoring bonus points in all their victories, plus in an opening away loss at Waterloo. Their losses came at home to Stockport, and a big one away at Penrith
TEAM : The only change to the one selected for the game against Birkenhead Park, is Danny Barker comes in for Ross McKay on the bench.
Up front Reece Tomlinson is back, with Greg Wrathall moving into the back row in place of Dane Blenkharn. Behind the pack James Gough is back, and Lewis Kincart make a first appearance of the season, starting on the wing (so plenty of cover at scrum half, with Jordan also on the bench). Mark Carruthers and Dan Lowther retain their places with Dan Shorrock swapping wings.
WEATHER : Update on the weather forecast which is slightly better - only 60% change of only light rain for the first half, then 80% (was 90%) chance of heavy rain for the second half - should be dry until 12.00 and after 5.00 !
It is a Saturday, and we are at Mint Bridge so it has to be 90% chance of heavy rain - after the glorious weather last weekend when we were due to be on Merseyside - but weren't.
SUNDAY : Don't forget there is more First XV rugby due at Mint Bridge on Sunday with the Wasps due to entertain Carlisle Cougars - Sunny with less than 5% chance of rain !!!
There is a team named - but it also says Kendal L v Carlisle W ??????
