Kendal dominated most of the territory & possession in the first half but never managed to breakdown a very stubborn defence & had to settle for a solitary penalty.
Penrith scored a converted try very early in the game & added the two further tries to Kendal's single penalty for a half time lead of 21-3.
Kendal found better penetration in their attacking play early in the second half & were rewarded when hooker Robbie Collinson sneaked in at the corner for an unconverted try.
A few minutes later & a rampaging Jack Lashley caused havoc in the Penrith defence for backrow Josh Chaplow to take full advantage & score Kendal's second try pulling the deficit back to 21-13.
However Penrith hit back scoring their fourth & bonus point try when Kendal knocked-on receiving the restart kick.
Kendal scored a third try through standoff Sean Garnett but Penrith scored a fifth & final try for a final score of 33-18.
