Kendal gifted tough opponents Moresby a 21 point lead - conceding three converted tries early in the game.
Kendal then awoke from their slumber & began to compete dominating the forward exchanges & possession.
This led to winger Mark Cottam being released on a run through midfield - he had a lot to do but showing great strength & determination he powered his way through on a 40 metre run to the try line standoff Nathan Wooff converted & added a penalty a few minutes later to leave Kendal trailing by only 11 poiints at halftime.
Kendal retained their grip on the game early in the second half & earned themselves a second Wooff penalty.
However Moresby gained from a turnover & scored a breakaway try which was converted for a 28-13 lead.
Kendal never gave up but the home side with renewed confidence finished the game scoring two further tries for a final score of 40-13.
But Kendal can be proud of a good away performance excluding the opening fifteen minutes.
