Dries Studt scored four tries as the whole squad played some great rugby.

Wigton 2nd 12 Kendal Development XV 74
Sat. 25th October, 2014

Another trip in Cumbria, Division One, saw the Development squad make the popular trip to Wigton.
Setting off at pace, they did not drop their routine for eighty minutes. They pinned the home side back in their own twenty two metre zone , and after a lot of pressure, the green and whites gave away a penalty, and Nathan Wooff put
them three points to the good.
For the rest of the game, some fast flowing rugby took over, and the Black and Ambers played some great moves from all points of the field.
The Development XV scored eleven tries, five in the first half, and six in the second, when they were up against a gale force wind.
Tries came from Nathan Wooff, Rhys Studt (four), Dan Wilson (two), Alex Wilson, Dan Greenwood, Lashley, and Sean Garnett.
Both Forwards and backs linked brilliantly for some great tries, and all parts of the game were played in a clinical manner.
In a performance like this, it was difficult to pick anyone out, but Sean Garnett played out of position, and may have found his true place.
Dan Blenkhorn filled in at hooker for the first time in years, and looked like he had never been away from the front row.
Tom Whitehead at No.8 gave the side experience and a real impetus in both attack and defence.
A big shout should also be given to the opposition, who played with great spirit, though struggling on occasions. They kept on going right to the final whistle. They were good value for every point they scored.
This was a great team performance by Kendal. With more players yet to come back from injury, there could be more to come if they continue to play like this. This is a young exciting side. We hope that for the rest of the season they will continue to
move forward.
A lot of credit should be given to all involved this season.
So far, in terms of team spirit and togetherness, the whole spirit is starting to pull together.
